Our Commitment

Lead Garrison is committed to handling personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This page sets out how we approach data protection and how you can exercise your rights.

Our Role in Your Data

Lead Garrison is the data controller for your account, business and billing information.

Lead Garrison is a data processor for the lead data collected on your behalf — the Instagram comments, private message conversations and qualification answers from people who engage with your campaigns. You are the controller of that data and are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact and qualify those individuals.

Lawful Basis for Processing

1. Contract

Processing is necessary to provide the Lead Garrison service you have subscribed to, including running your campaigns and qualification flows.

2. Legitimate interests

We process data to keep the platform secure, prevent misuse and improve how it works, provided this does not override your rights and freedoms.

3. Legal obligation

We process data to comply with UK legal requirements, including tax and accounting obligations.

4. Consent

Where required, we ask for your consent for a specific processing activity, such as non-essential cookies.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Right to access (Article 15)

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Your leads can also be exported as CSV from your dashboard at any time.

Right to rectification (Article 16)

You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to erasure (Article 17)

You can ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

Right to restriction (Article 18)

You can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.

Right to data portability (Article 20)

You can request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

Right to object (Article 21)

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing.

Automated Processing

Lead Garrison calculates lead scores from the questions and scoring rules you configure yourself. This is a rules-based calculation, not automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and you can review and change your configuration at any time.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Contact us at:

  • Email: Hello@leadgarrison.com
  • Phone: +44 7503 516850
  • Post: Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU

We will respond within one month. If your request is complex we may extend this by up to two further months and will tell you if we do.

If you are an individual contacted through a Lead Garrison campaign and you want your information removed, please contact the business you were speaking to, as they control that data.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of data in transit, access controls on our systems and limiting access to those who need it to operate the service.

Data Breach Notification

If we become aware of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours. Where the breach poses a high risk, we will also inform affected individuals without undue delay.

International Transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy determination.

Third-Party Processors

We work with processors that support the service — including Meta for the Instagram connection, Stripe for payments and our hosting and email providers. They are only given the data they need to perform those tasks.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal data correctly, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):
